Where To stay Sajek Valley – Cost, How to go :-

If we  want to go to Sajek, first we have to go to Khagrachari. Several Bus Service available from Dhaka to Khagrachari. Bus rent starts from 520 BDT 1300 BDT depending on the service. For climbing Sajek Valley, you need to rent something called  “Chander Gari” translates to “vehicle of the moon”. from Khagrachari is the easiest way to visit Sajek.

Every year thousands of tourists visit there and most of them get bewildered at how to spend their days in Sajek Valley.

Here I will give you the complete tour plan on

  1st day :-

After arriving at Khagrachari around 7 O’clock in the morning finish breakfast.

On the way, at Baghaichhari you will meet Haza chora Waterfalls spend an hour there and get rid of all the fatigue of the bus journey. Around 10 am leave for Sajek along with the Army scout.

In the evening take the Jeep and drive to the Helipad, the most interesting place at Sajek. With the mysterious nature around, the moon above the head this place is perfect for a long night chat with loved ones.

2nd day:-

In the afternoon finishing lunch, get on the Jeep and ride for Konglak hill.

The most beautiful views of  Sajek. From there can be seen top of Konglak hill.

If you love Barbeque party this is the perfect place. Enjoy the night with singing and gossiping.

3rd day :- 

This morning you can go to see the farewell sunrise in the army-controlled park below the helipad of Sajek. The stunning small cottages out there will feel your heart with joy.

Enter the cave with a flaming torch or flashlight to witness a different feeling. The condition of the waterfall is fairly good you can cool yourself in the spring water. if possible, you can see the origin of the spring.

This is the end of this journey. Now come back to Khagrachari and get ready to return home taking the amazing memory of these perfect 3 days in Sajek Valley.

Costing:-

The price of everything in the Sajak Valley is relatively high. Here I will give you an estimated cost to spend the perfect 3 days in Sajek Valley.

Jeep (Chander Gari):  Khagrachari to Sajek for 3 days 11,500 – 16,000 BDT. The cost will vary depending on the places you visit. 12 – 15 persons can be accommodated in one Jeep.

Resort: There are some best resorts at Sajek Valley. The resort’s price varies from 1,500 to 15,000 BDT per night depending on the resort. Or you can stay at a tribal house at a low cost.

Food: There are many restaurants where you can eat at Sajek Valley. The cost of food per person will be between 150 to 300 BDT. You will find rice, pulses, vegetables, Bamboo chicken on the food menu.

You might have to pay some additional cost for entry fee and Jeep parking.

Important Notes:-

  • There is some problem with the mobile network in Sajek.
  • You don’t need a travel guide at Sajek Valley.
  • And most importantly don’t throw any waste try to keep the area clean.
