I visit end of the September but During the months from end of the April to early June. visit in Sonmarg weather remains pleasant. Similarly, months like September and October are also the best time to visit Sonmarg.
A picturesque summer spot Zero Point:-
Especially for one who is fond of snowy terrains should experience the views at Zero point. It is situate at 15,300 m above sea level, and it is close to the India-China border.
The magnificent zero point is the confluence of the three rivers, making it a breathtaking valley for travelers, surrounded by snow-capped mountains in the clouds, and its maple tree vegetation.
However, traveling to zero point on the road is quite dangerous, with Rocky terrain and narrow ways that are adventurous on their own.
Zero point is under snow most of the year, the best time to visit is between February to June and beautiful view.
I visit September to October . However, be careful with the oxygen levels as they are significantly lower than regular areas.
However, the visit to zero point will be worth for the adventure, as you treat your eyes with lush green meadows, orange and yellow clouds will instantly make you feel at peace.
Zoji-La Pass:-
Traveling through Zojila Pass is an adventurous and exhilarating experience, offering picturesque views of the snow-capped mountains and rugged terrain.
However, due to its location in high altitude region, it faces unpredictable weather conditions, the pass is not accessible throughout the year, as it gets closed because of heavy snow in winter.
