For climbing Sajek Valley, you need to rent something called “Chander Gari” translates to “vehicle of the moon”. from Khagrachari is the easiest way to visit Sajek.

So, let’s begin the journey.

You have to arrive at Khagrachari early in the morning so start your journey according to that.

1^st day

After arriving at Khagrachari around 7 O’clock in the morning finish your breakfast. Then take the Jeep (Chander gari) and start your journey for Sajek.

On the way, at Baghaichhari you will meet Hazachora Waterfalls spend an hour there and get rid of all the fatigue of the bus journey. After that around 10 am leave for Sajek along with the Army scout.

After Arriving at Sajek check-in at a resort, be quickly freshen up and finish your lunch with amazing indigenous food. Then rest awhile at the resort.

Spend the Perfect 3 Days in Sajek Valley

In the evening take the Jeep and drive to the Helipad, the most interesting place at Sajek. With the mysterious nature around, the moon above the head this place is perfect for a long night chat with loved ones. After that finish your dinner and come back to the resorts.

2^nd day

Get up early in the morning, if you don’t want to miss the sunrise. You have to go to the Helipad to see the perfect sunrise. Then finish the breakfast and visit the surrounding places including Stone Garden, Ruiluipara Church.

In the afternoon after finishing lunch, get on the Jeep and ride for Konglak hill. The Jeep will stop at a certain place then you have to start hiking. When you’ll see the cloud running near to you all the pains of hiking will go away. The most beautiful views of Sajek Valley can be seen from the top of Konglak hill.

3^rd day

This morning you can go to see the farewell sunrise in the army-controlled park below the helipad of Sajek. The stunning small co ttages out there will feel your heart with joy. After that have your breakfast and return to Khagrachari with army squat.

Once you return to Khagrachari finish your lunch at System restaurant and don’t miss the duck meat and mushroom. After that visit the eye-catching Suspension Bridge(Jhulonto Bridge).

Then go to see the natural Alutila Cave. Enter the cave with a flaming torch or flashlight to witness a different feeling.

Then go past the Golden Temple to Richang Waterfall. The condition of the waterfall is fairly good you can cool yourself in the spring water. if possible, you can see the origin of the spring.

The price of everything in the Sajak Valley is relatively high. Here I will give you an estimated cost to spend the perfect 3 days in Sajek Valley.

Jeep (Chander Gari): Khagrachari to Sajek for 3 days 11,500 – 16,000 BDT. The cost will vary depending on the places you visit. 12 – 15 persons can be accommodated in one Jeep.

Resort: There are some best resorts at Sajek Valley. The resort’s price varies from 1,500 to 15,000 BDT per night depending on the resort. Or you can stay at a tribal house at a low cost.

Food: There are many restaurants where you can eat at Sajek Valley. The cost of food per person will be between 150 to 300 BDT. You will find rice, pulses, vegetables, chicken on the food menu.

You might have to pay some additional cost for entry fee and Jeep parking.

Important Notes:

There is some problem with the mobile network in Sajek. So, take Robi or Airtel sim card.
There is a crisis of electricity at Sajek so take power bank.
You don’t need a travel guide at Sajek Valley.
Take permission before taking pictures of indigenous people.
And most importantly don’t throw any waste try to keep the area clean.
